On the Farm Retreat:

Stress Management

August 24, 2019 | 9 AM- 2 PM

Come to the farm, relax and unwind. During this one-day retreat we will focus on managing the stress in our busy lives using: nutrition, herbs, sleep, acupressure, aromatherapy, and meditation. The day includes:

  • Cooking demonstration to introduce foods that support our bodies during stress. Go home with the recipes! Includes lunch.

  • Walk through the gardens and learn about specific herbal allies for stress.

  • Lesson on acupressure points you can use on yourself to relieve stress from True Self's Emily Wright.

  • Learn about the importance of sleep and how it relates to managing stress.

  • History of labyrinths and their use for meditation. Walk the one on the farm!

  • Learn which essential oils are good for stress relief and how to use them safely from Barb Kearns of Just Be.

Stay after the retreat for a make & take (at extra cost): essential oil inhaler ($5), herbal tincture ($10). Also offering 20 minute acupressure sessions ($20).
