On the Farm Retreat:
Stress Management

Come to the farm, relax and unwind. During this one-day retreat we will focus on managing the stress in our busy lives using: nutrition, herbs, sleep, acupressure, aromatherapy, and meditation. The day includes:

Cooking demonstration to introduce foods that support our bodies during stress. Go home with the recipes! Includes lunch.

Walk through the gardens and learn about specific herbal allies for stress.

Lesson on acupressure points you can use on yourself to relieve stress from True Self's Emily Wright.

Learn about the importance of sleep and how it relates to managing stress.

History of labyrinths and their use for meditation. Walk the one on the farm!

Learn which essential oils are good for stress relief and how to use them safely from Barb Kearns of Just Be.
Stay after the retreat for a make & take (at extra cost): essential oil inhaler ($5), herbal tincture ($10). Also offering 20 minute acupressure sessions ($20).
